A few weeks ago in Relief Society our lesson talked about Women of the Church being Influential women in the World.  When I found out that Belinda was near death and I was fasting and praying for her last week I thought, " Belinda Craft is an influential woman that George Albert Smith was talking about in his lesson.  I got to see her influence in the lives of the people in the Garden 2nd Ward. She was one of my favorite Relief Society teachers.  She had such a strong testimony so teaching the Gospel came easy to her.  She befriended everyone and was a great Bishop's Wife.  She was always excited about something in life and it was so fun to be her Visiting Teacher and hear about her kids and all the fun things they did together , and what she was currently interested in.  One time she and Shawna Hammond Hamblin went through an interior decortating period and it was always exciting to go over and see what she had been working on! We had many baby showers, wedding showers and parties at her house.  The last conversation I had with her was her telling me about the HUGE neighborhood party they had last Summer in her current Ward. She alway spoiled my 11 yr. old Luke by taking he and Josh to do fun things like 7 peaks, kangaroo zoo, Savior of the World, Pizza, ice cream, etc. etc.  I love how much Belinda could love and enjoyed life and the people around her.  Thankful to know her and feel her influence in my life.  She is still very much alive to me.  I can't picture her any other way.
